Process

01

01. Design Approval

Each State needs to approve our State-stamped architectural and engineering plans and issue a State-approved Certificate prior to us visiting the local building department with the plans. Approval requires an onsite inspection of factory by a State-approved quality assurance inspector, approval of our plans and approval of our operations manual. A State certificate of approval is affixed to each unit we deliver to the site.

02

02. Permits & Site Prep

Upon State approval, we bring such plans to the local city or county building department where the property will be assembled. While the usual permits and inspections for grading, wet & dry utilities and foundation are required, once we deliver our Smart Living Home to the site, the local inspector can only inspect the assembly done by a licensed General Contractor. The States already certified that the factory-built asset has been constructed to code and no need of tearing or opening anything to satisfy a local inspection is required.

03

03. Manufacture

While the site is being prepared, we build each Smart Living Home indoors inside our factory in Hermosillo, Mexico, saving precious time. Watch the video below to view our building process.

04

04. Delivery

Each finished structure is carefully loaded onto a 53’ x 8’6” bed and shipped to the site arriving between 48 to 72 hours.

05

05. Assembly

It takes a four-man crew between three to five days to fully assemble a Smart Living Home Luxor Model, or about 1 day to assemble a Tiny Mansion ADU. The structures arrive fully finished to the prepped site. From the use of the crane to unload each unit, to bolting and joining each segment, and the final touch-ups, each Smart Living Home will be the prettiest, sturdiest and smartest home on the block, or ADU in the back yard.

06

06. Completion

Smart Living Homes delivers on quality, durability and sheer esthetic beauty. It’s the Bentley of homes, at a Chevy price. At the close of Escrow, the homeowner will feel they got a lot more than what they paid for, the Investor will earn a projected 13% - 26% ROI per project (higher for ADUs), and Smart Living Homes will gain market share in the US Housing Market. It’s the perfect win-win-win scenario.
